Born in Berea, Ohio, she later made her home in the southeastern United States. There she continues pursuing her passions for education, writing, creativity, and personal reflection. Her professional journey began by teaching elementary and middle school students. This was an experience that deepened her appreciation for the curiosity and creative imagination that children bring to our world.

Beyond education, Zita has devoted time to writing poetry, mentoring others, facilitating reflective experiences, and assisting individuals as they pursue advanced academic and professional goals.
